I started Blitz Cleaning and Maintenance with one simple goal: to give people real value for money. After working with other companies in the industry, it became clear to me that many didn’t truly value their customers or appreciate the work they were entrusted with. That’s what inspired me to start Blitz, to do things differently.

One of the biggest problems I noticed in the industry was the reliance on subcontracting. When work is passed through too many hands, the level of care and attention tends to drop. There’s less accountability, more delays, and too many people trying to take a piece of the pie. It also becomes harder to control when teams arrive or when the job gets done. That’s why at Blitz, we don’t subcontract. All our staff are directly employed by us, and every job is completed by our team start to finish.

This matters because it allows us to maintain full control over the quality of our work. We take pride in our service, and we’re confident enough to give every customer my personal phone number. If there’s an issue, you won’t be chasing anyone you’ll get a response that same day and a solution shortly after. Simple, honest, and reliable.

In just a few short years, we’ve grown from me in a van doing local window cleaning to working with household names across the UK. It’s been a journey I don’t take for granted. Our mission now is to continue growing not just in size, but in impact. Over the next three years, we aim to become one of the most trusted names in the industry, constantly improving, innovating, and investing in our team.

Because at the end of the day, without our people, we’re nothing.
